Couples are traveling from far and wide to have the Algarve as their chosen wedding destination. The Algarve is home to a wide variety of wedding venues from ceremonies on the edge of golden cliffs overlooking miles of some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, vineyards nestled in the heart of Portugal’s countryside or in one of the Algarve’s many luxury villas, the options are endless and there is something for everyone! With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, breathtaking views, unspoiled coastlines, fantastic wines and cuisine and not to mention where beer and wine are cheaper than chocolate, what’s not to like about choosing the Algarve as your wedding destination!!

Weddings here in the Algarve Portugal are becoming more and more popular every year.

My husband and I got married here in the Algarve 16 years ago in a beautiful old quinta secretly nestled in amongst the orange groves. This is where our Algarve dream began!

We live in Ferragudo, a tiny picturesque fishing village we are lucky enough to call our “forever home”. I am fairly certain it is one of the prettiest villages you will find here in the Algarve with its cobbled streets, authentic colourful Portuguese houses, and beautiful beaches... 

Meet Nickie

A peek inside my life….

We fell in love with a run-down old quinta a 5-minute stroll outside of the village which we are loving back to life! It’s home to myself , my husband our 2 sons, Bobby (almost son), 5 dogs, 11 chickens, 1 rooster, 3 cats a pond full of frogs and fish, and often some not so welcome slippery visitors in the height of the summer! There is never a dull moment living here, life is always funny in one way or another! The Quinta is transforming and fast becoming a place of true beauty capturing the hearts of those who visit here, it’s our happy place, one day who knows maybe it will be a wedding venue!

Together is a beautiful place to be.

How the business began

Then came wedding decor…!! I have always been keen on design and styling since studying interior design way back when... it’s my other passion and something I have always enjoyed in my own home. Oh, and did I mention that shopping is also a passion of mine, not shoes or handbags but home decor items!! So, the perfect way to justify buying beautiful things was to rent them out!!! The perfect solution to my shopping addiction, and so the collection has grown providing us with a beautiful collection of items to hire!!! My team is my family, my boys all help me on a wedding day and they all love the buzz of an Algarve wedding or event!!

They were very relaxed so they weren’t making anyone take photos they didn’t want and were no way intrusive etc We have stunning photos!
